President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that one of the key targets of future Russian strikes against Ukraine — military, political, and propaganda-related — could be Ukrainian companies involved in the development of all types of missile technologies.
The head of state announced this in a post on Telegram.
"Briefing by the Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Oleh Ivashchenko. Details regarding Russian missile production: facilities, ranges, quantities, supply routes for critical components and machine tools, as well as individuals and companies in other countries helping Russia circumvent sanctions. We are preparing updates to our countermeasures — both Ukrainian and coordinated with our partners. It is important that pressure on Russia continues to increase," Zelensky wrote.
He noted that one of the main areas Russia has selected for future attacks on Ukraine is companies developing missile technologies.
"We also know that one of the key directions for future Russian strikes against Ukraine — military, political, and propaganda-related — is Ukrainian companies that are demonstrating progress in the development of all types of missile technologies. Russia sees this as a strategic threat — Ukraine’s ability to develop its own ballistic missile system and localize the production of anti-ballistic defense capabilities. We will respond accordingly," he said.
