In Abu Dhabi, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Ukrainian experts who have been working for several weeks in the United Arab Emirates to provide assistance in protecting lives.
During the meeting, they discussed the initial results, key findings from the team’s work in the UAE, and some proposals.
“Our shared goal with our partners is greater security. Ukrainians, unfortunately, remember all too well what it was like when Russia launched its full-scale aggression against our country. Much depended on rapid and effective defense solutions. Today, Ukraine not only needs support but is also ready to assist those who support us,” emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian experts reported that during this time they have held meetings with UAE security and defense representatives and are working on strengthening protection against aerial threats.
“We discussed exactly this before my meeting with His Highness President of the UAE Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. There is already a clear understanding of how the air defense system and critical infrastructure in the Emirates can be strengthened by integrating Ukrainian experience. We are talking about comprehensive solutions that have proven their effectiveness,” the Head of State noted.
The President thanked the Ukrainian experts for their service and highlighted the respect shown toward Ukraine in the region.
