Russian troops are attempting to fully capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region.

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of responsibility of the “East” operational grouping are holding back the pressure of Russian forces.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 21 assault actions by Russian troops in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Kotlyne, Novomykolaivka, Udachne, and Filiia, as well as in the direction of the settlements of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopavlivka.
According to preliminary estimates, over the past 24 hours in the Pokrovsk–Myrnohrad agglomeration area, the Defense Forces eliminated 63 Russian soldiers and wounded another 23.
In addition, one artillery system and four units of special equipment were destroyed, while three tanks, two artillery systems, one vehicle, an electronic warfare system, and 58 Russian shelters were damaged. A total of 192 UAVs of various types were also destroyed or neutralized.
According to the military, Russian forces are concentrating efforts in particular on attempts to advance in the area of the settlement of Hryshyne, trying to break into its central part while simultaneously assaulting the settlement from the north and south.
“Russian troops are also trying to fully take control of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding designated positions on the northern outskirts of these settlements,” the military emphasized.
The Defense Forces are countering the intentions of Russian forces and repelling their assault attempts. In particular, enhanced aerial reconnaissance is being carried out, additional mining of possible advance routes is underway, and Russian logistics are being blocked, while search-and-strike operations are conducted systematically.
According to the military, “our drone units, artillery, and aviation are working actively. Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses on Russian troops.”
Overall, in the area of responsibility of the “East” grouping, Russian losses remain the highest — 347 soldiers over the past day.
In addition, 1,539 UAVs of various types were destroyed, as well as 121 units of other weapons and equipment destroyed or damaged.
The military emphasized that the Defense Forces are focusing not only on eliminating Russian infantry but also drone operators. Over the past day, 64 Russian UAV control points were hit.
