In the first eight months of 2025, the Export Credit Agency of Ukraine (ECA) supported non-commodity exports totaling UAH 9.15 billion. This is 83.7% higher than the same period last year, when the total was UAH 4.98 billion.

“Businesses are increasingly using ECA tools — insurance for export contracts and loans — which reduce payment risks and help secure additional financing. As a result, compared to the same period in 2024, the volume of supported non-commodity exports increased by 83.7%. State support allows Ukrainian producers to enter new markets more confidently and promote ‘Made in Ukraine’ products abroad,” said Andriy Telyupa, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

From January to August, loan agreements worth over UAH 1 billion were insured, and every hryvnia of insurance coverage generated UAH 8.8 in export revenue.

The largest volumes of supported exports were recorded in Lviv region — UAH 2.48 billion. Other leaders include Khmelnytskyi — UAH 1.36 billion, Ternopil — UAH 1.15 billion, Volyn — UAH 1.15 billion. Kyiv received support for UAH 566 million in exports, Odessa — UAH 534 million, Mykolaiv — UAH 392 million, and Ivano-Frankivsk — UAH 325 million.

The most popular export destination for Ukrainian goods supported by ECA was Poland — UAH 2.6 billion. Significant shipments also went to Austria (UAH 1.07 billion), Lithuania (UAH 554 million), the Netherlands (UAH 511 million), and Germany (UAH 460 million). Important markets remain the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, France, and Israel.

By product structure, the largest supported exports were:

  • Food products (mixtures of vegetable and dairy fats) — UAH 2.19 billion;
  • Wood and wood products — UAH 1.78 billion;
  • Furniture and interior items — UAH 1.42 billion;
  • Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages — UAH 865 million;
  • Processed vegetables and fruit products — UAH 758 million
