On the night of April 17 (from 20:00 on April 16), the Rusian forces launched an attack with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region (Russia), three S-300/400 guided missiles from the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, and 75 Shahed-type attack drones along with various types of drone imitators from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo (Russia), and Chauda (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 10:00, 25 Shahed-type attack drones (and other types of UAVs) have been confirmed shot down in the east, north, south, and center of the country.
30 drone imitators were lost in various locations (without negative consequences).
As a result of the enemy attack, the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were affected.
