Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck ammunition depots, air defense assets, command posts, and manpower of the Russian forces on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia on May 21 and during the night of May 22.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“In particular, the ‘Osa’ surface-to-air missile system was hit in the city of Donetsk, Donetsk region,” the statement said.
In addition, Russian forces’ command and observation posts were struck in Novopetrivka in Donetsk region and Tyotkino in Russia’s Kursk region, a command post of a unit in the area of Voskresenka in Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as a Russian forces communications hub in Verkhnii Tokmak Druhyi in Zaporizhzhia region.
Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck Russian forces UAV command posts in Selydove, Malynivka, and Vesele in Donetsk region.
They also hit a Russian forces ammunition depot in Velyka Novosilka, a logistics depot in Donetsk city in Donetsk region, and another logistics depot in Rovenky in Luhansk region.
Ukrainian troops additionally struck concentrations of Russian forces manpower in the areas of Selydove, Ukrainska, and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, Malynivka in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as in Troiebortne (Bryansk region, Russia).
Russian forces’ river crossings over the Oskil and Bakhmutivka rivers were also hit in the areas of Holubivka in Kharkiv region and Siversk in Donetsk region, respectively.
