The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Russian boats guarding the Kerch Bridge during the night of April 30, the Navy reported.
“On the night of April 30, 2026, forces and assets of the Ukrainian Navy carried out strikes on Russian naval vessels in the Kerch Strait area,” the statement said.
According to the report, the strike hit an FSB patrol boat Sobol and an anti-sabotage boat Grachonok.
The statement also noted that the Russian forces sustained both irreversible and sanitary losses as a result of the attack.
It is noted that these boats are key units of the Coast Guard of the FSB Border Service and the occupying naval fleet, used to guard the Kerch Bridge and to counter sabotage operations.
