Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of Russian military targets on September 2 and during the night of September 3, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In Sevastopol, Crimea, a BK-16 landing craft was struck. The extent of the damage is being assessed,” the General Staff said on Telegram.
The BK-16 is a high-speed transport and landing craft of Project 02510 designed to transport and deploy troops, including on unequipped coastlines, as well as to carry out patrol and counter-sabotage missions.
The vessel has a full displacement of around 20.5 tonnes and is approximately 16 metres long. It has a crew of two and can carry up to 19 troops. The craft can be equipped with machine guns and grenade launchers.
“A Krasukha-4 mobile electronic warfare station was also struck in the area of temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The Krasukha-4 (1RL257) is a long-range mobile electronic warfare system designed to suppress airborne radars on aircraft and helicopters, as well as radar systems used by unmanned aerial vehicles. The system is also capable of disrupting communications and other electronic systems,” the General Staff said.
In addition, a Russian drone command post was struck near Marine in occupied Crimea.
In Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces struck a drone storage facility belonging to a Russian unit in Zhelanne, as well as an ammunition depot near Ilovaisk.
Russian military facilities at the Vostochny training ground in Novopetrivka, Zaporizhzhia region, were also hit.
The extent of the damage is being assessed.
