The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified the results of the strike on April 19, 2026, carried out with Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles against the Atlant Aero enterprise, as well as the damage inflicted on a patrol vessel of the Russian FSB border service.
“The results of the strike on April 19, 2026, carried out by Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles against the Atlant Aero enterprise (Taganrog, Rostov region, Russian Federation) have been clarified — the destruction of two and damage to four production facilities of the enterprise has been confirmed,” the General Staff said in a Telegram statement.
This plant produces “Molniya” type drones, as well as components for the heavy UAV “Orion” (weighing about one ton, with a payload of up to 250 kg). The “Orion” can carry aerial photography systems, electronic reconnaissance modules, electro-optical systems, guided aerial bombs KAB-20, Kh-50 missiles, and UAV-launched missiles.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that striking this facility will reduce the Russian army’s ability to produce unmanned aerial vehicles and weaken its capability to carry out strikes on civilian targets in Ukraine.
In addition, as a result of the strike on April 22, 2026, on a patrol vessel of the Russian FSB border service of Project 22460 (Sevastopol, temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), damage to the combat bridge has been confirmed.
