Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal reported that as of December 2025, the Defense Procurement Agency is delivering an average of nearly 950 interceptor drones per day.

The minister noted that the procurement of anti‑Shahed UAVs is a key priority for 2026. According to Shmyhal, as of December the Ministry of Defense has contracts with more than 10 manufacturers producing drones designed to intercept other UAVs.

Recently, tactical‑level interceptor drones were added to the DOT‑Chain Defence marketplace. Through this system, combat brigades can independently select the equipment they need to counter enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs.

In addition, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said that Ukraine is carrying out systematic work to collect all possible data on the operation and effectiveness of interceptor drones.
