President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the preparation of an international forum for the Carpathian macro-region.
“An important element today is the initiative of our regions—of Ukraine and our part of Europe—regarding the Carpathian Integration Initiative. We are currently developing this format and preparing an international forum of the Carpathian macro-region. I am grateful to every participant for joint work so that this format also becomes effective,” Zelenskyy said while addressing participants of the 4th International Summit of Cities and Regions “Partnership. Resilience. Readiness.”
The President also stressed to participants the need to communicate to all political leaders that Ukraine’s number one priority remains air defense.
“Right now, each of us understands that Russian madness has not diminished. They are again threatening us with strikes, again refusing real diplomacy, trying to draw Belarus further into the war and threatening the Baltic states, Finland, Moldova, and Poland,” Zelenskyy noted.
