The Restoration Agency has completed modernization works on four border checkpoints and the development of a service zone on the border with Moldova.

This was reported on Telegram by Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Kuleba, as reported by Ukrinform.

In the Odessa region, the upgrades were completed at the checkpoints “Starokozache – Tudora,” “Dolynske – Cişmichioi,” “Lisne – Seits,” and “Maliarozlavets 1 – Ceadîr-Lunga,” the statement said.

According to Kuleba, the facilities were modernized with updated infrastructure, new modular buildings, backup power sources, modern lighting, engineering networks, pedestrian zones, and improved working conditions for border and customs services.

A modern service area has also been completed near the Reni – Giurgiulești checkpoint on the Odessa–Reni highway. The site can accommodate 46 trucks and 13 passenger cars. It includes comfortable rest facilities for drivers, lighting, water supply and drainage systems, and barrier-free infrastructure.

The projects were implemented with the support of the European Union under the “Solidarity Lanes” initiative.
