President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a series of meetings in Latin America and is preparing to intensify the work of Ukrainian missions in the region.
The head of state announced this on Telegram.
“Meetings were held with the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile, as well as representatives of more than ten other countries in the region. It is important that we are preparing to step up the work of our missions in Latin America and the corresponding cooperation with the region on international platforms,” Zelenskyy noted.
According to the President, Sybiha also reported on communication with representatives of Ukraine’s key European partners regarding security and political issues important for the country.
“Everyone notes that our state can be a real partner in ensuring security,” the head of state emphasized.
At the same time, Zelenskyy informed that preparations for diplomatic events in Ukraine in the coming weeks were also discussed.
“We are working to ensure that the world’s attention to our state and our defense does not diminish,” the President concluded.
