President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine has reached agreements on 10-year deals with three key Persian Gulf countries—Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar—and has also received requests from 11 more countries.
“We have already agreed on 10-year contracts with three key countries: Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Qatar. We have received requests from 11 countries—the Middle East and the Gulf—and we are gradually looking toward the Caucasus,” Zelenskyy said.
According to him, this “Drone Deal” will include at least 10 different agreements on the export of various types of Ukrainian weapons.
“It provides for co-production—the construction of our production lines both in Ukraine and in other countries. There will be new technologies that we jointly develop with partner states, in which they invest. There is also an agreement on annual financing of a certain volume and a fixed number of years,” Zelenskyy explained.
He added that the second component is the European dimension.
“We have already begun working with Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Of course, we have strong relations with the United Kingdom and France. I am confident that all of this will take place there as well,” the President emphasized.
