Ukraine, together with international partners, including the United Kingdom and the United States, has developed a strategic vision for the return of all temporarily occupied territories, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

This was stated by First Deputy Defense Minister Ivan Havryliuk during the Fourth International Forum of the Expert Network of the International Crimea Platform.

“We have directions and a vision for returning all temporarily occupied territories back to Ukraine. Together with our partners—the British and Americans—we conducted a series of ‘war games’ simulating various scenarios, and for the next 10–15 years, we have a clear vision of where to move and how to develop,” Havryliuk said.

He also commented on the situation in the Black Sea:

“Regarding dominance in the Black Sea, let’s be realistic. Advantage in the Black Sea must be gained and maintained.”

Havryliuk added that Crimea has now become a powerful Russian military base with a high concentration of troops.
