As part of its work in the United States, the Ukrainian delegation managed to reach a number of important agreements with American companies regarding energy projects in Ukraine. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal, who is leading the Ukrainian delegation.

In particular, the following documents were signed:

— The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine concluded a hydrocarbon production sharing agreement with Aspect Holdings. The document will help attract investment into the development of Ukraine’s hydrocarbon production and strengthen the country’s energy security.

— Naftogaz of Ukraine signed a Memorandum with leading international energy equipment manufacturer Solar Turbines. Potential areas of cooperation include localization of equipment service and maintenance, training of Ukrainian specialists, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the energy resilience and independence of Naftogaz Group facilities.

— A Memorandum of Understanding was concluded between Naftogaz of Ukraine and Baker Hughes. The implementation of the agreement will help improve the energy efficiency and reliability of gas turbines and compressor units, increase productivity, and optimize production.

— A Memorandum between Naftogaz of Ukraine and the American Petroleum Institute (API) provides for cooperation and information exchange on current standards, certifications, technologies, and best industry practices in the oil and gas sector, including the participation of Group experts in the development of API standards.

“We thank our partners for their trust and support. Together, we will build a new energy architecture in Ukraine that is resilient to challenges and threats,” Denys Shmyhal emphasized.
