The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed strikes on the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Russian Federation and provided information on the results of the strike on the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station.
“On May 19 and during the night of May 20, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine carried out strikes against a number of important facilities belonging to the Russian forces,” the statement said.
In particular, the AVT-6 primary oil refining unit was hit, followed by a fire at the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez refinery near the town of Kstovo in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region.
As a result of the strike on the Yaroslavl-3 oil pumping station in Semibratovo (Yaroslavl region, Russia), damage to four storage tanks with a total capacity of 140,000 cubic meters was preliminarily confirmed.
“The station is an important element of the Russian Federation’s oil transportation system and is involved in supporting the military-industrial infrastructure of the aggressor state,” the General Staff noted.
Russian command posts in Soledar, Donetsk region, as well as command and observation posts of the Russian forces near Lyubymivka in Kherson region and Ivanivske in Donetsk region, were also struck.
In addition, Russian UAV control points were hit near Piddubne and Perebudova in Donetsk region, Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region, and Yelizavetovka in Russia’s Kursk region.
Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck concentrations of Russian personnel near Novoukrainka in Zaporizhzhia region and in Myrne, Snizhne, and the city of Donetsk in Donetsk region.
Additionally, an ammunition depot of the aggressor near Marynivka in Zaporizhzhia region and a Russian repair unit in Sievierodonetsk, Luhansk region, were struck.
