Ukraine and Germany are preparing for a new phase of security cooperation, focusing on launching joint mutually beneficial projects.
During a meeting with German Foreign Minister Johannes Wadephul, Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Mykhailo Fedorov, thanked Germany for its leadership and systematic support, which directly strengthens Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
Ukraine emphasized the importance of unlocking the EU credit and also proposed increasing the portion allocated for defense to €40 billion this year.
The parties also discussed the development of the PURL (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List) instrument to provide Ukraine with critical weapon systems.
