Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day killed two people and injured at least 20, while hundreds of drone, artillery and air strikes damaged homes, infrastructure and businesses.
In Kherson region, two people were killed and nine others injured as Russian forces attacked 28 settlements with drones, artillery and air strikes. Three apartment buildings and eight private houses were damaged, along with a petrol station, minibuses and cars.
In Zaporizhzhia region, four people were injured in Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district. Russian forces carried out 806 attacks on 53 settlements over the past day, including 24 air strikes, 614 drone attacks — predominantly using FPV drones — nine strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems and 159 artillery attacks. Authorities received 50 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, vehicles and outbuildings.
In Donetsk region, seven civilians were injured on September 6. Four people were wounded in Sloviansk, two in Kramatorsk and one in Maiaky. According to regional authorities, Russian attacks have killed 4,288 civilians and injured 10,368 in the region since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, excluding casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces carried out more than 10 attacks overnight using drones and artillery. An apartment building was damaged in the Nikopol district, while warehouses containing grain caught fire in the Synelnykove district. Infrastructure was also damaged in the Pavlohrad district.
In Kharkiv region, five civilians were injured as Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 13 other settlements. Three men aged 25, 47 and 50 were wounded in Sakhnovshchyna, a 69-year-old man was injured in Mala Danylivka, and a 52-year-old man was wounded in Zlatopil.
