On Sunday, March 8, Prague will host the third charity run Run4Ukr3. The event brings together professional athletes and running enthusiasts to raise funds for Ukraine.
Thanks to support from the ASC Dukla Praha sports club, the run will again take place on the professional athletic track at Juliska Stadium. The initiative is held under the high patronage of the Military Office of the President of the Czech Republic, Prague 6 city district, the Czech Sokol community, and the Ukrainian Embassy in the Czech Republic.
Participants can choose from several distances and formats depending on their experience:
- Mass run/walk: open format for everyone (entry fee – 100 Kč)
- One-hour run: timed distance challenge with professional timing from Irontime (entry fee – 300 Kč)
- Six-hour marathon: endurance run for experienced runners (entry fee – 500 Kč)
- Virtual run: for those unable to attend in Prague, available online from February 24 to March 15 (entry fee – 100 Kč)
The on-site run at Juliska Stadium will last all day, from 09:00 to 17:00. Organizers emphasize that there is “no bad weather” when it comes to solidarity with Ukraine’s running community.
All funds raised through entry fees and voluntary donations will go to support Ukraine in its fight for independence. More details are available on the official website.
