The company Philip Morris Ukraine reported that on Friday, January 30, part of its Kharkiv factory was damaged during a nighttime missile strike.
“Rescue services are on site, and firefighting operations are ongoing. Most importantly, according to preliminary information, there are no casualties. All on-duty personnel were in shelters,” the company stated.

It was noted that the company remains in constant contact with emergency services and provides all necessary assistance.
“The company continues to fulfill its obligations to the state budget, partners, and consumers,” the statement added.
The Kharkiv Philip Morris factory in Ukraine has been suspended since February 24, 2022, following the start of the full-scale invasion.
In 2024, Philip Morris opened a new factory in Lviv region, investing $30 million in its launch. 250 employees from the Kharkiv factory were relocated to work at the new facility.
