The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed a strike on the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Eco oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. The General Staff reported this on Facebook.
On the night of January 26, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck the infrastructure of the Slavyansk Eco oil refinery (Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar Krai).
The plant’s potential annual processing capacity exceeds 4 million tonnes of oil. The refinery is part of Russia’s energy rear and is involved in supplying the Russian armed forces.
Hits by strike UAVs on the refinery’s territory and explosions in the target area were recorded.
According to preliminary information, elements of the primary oil refining unit were damaged. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
In addition, warehouses providing material and technical support to Russian forces were hit in occupied Donetsk and in the village of Solodkovodne, Zaporizhzhia region.
Furthermore, in order to weaken Russia’s offensive capabilities, strikes were carried out on a UAV control point in the area of Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region), as well as on concentrations of Russian forces in the areas of Yunakivka (Sumy region) and Kolisnykivka (Kharkiv region).
The number of Russian forces killed and wounded is being determined.
