Finland will provide Ukraine with €20 million in humanitarian aid, Trade and Development Minister Ville Tavio announced.
“Ukraine urgently needs assistance. In wartime, a harsh winter and energy shortages make life difficult for people. By my decision, Finland will provide Ukraine with humanitarian aid totaling €20 million,” he wrote on X on Wednesday.
Earlier that day, Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk also spoke about Finland’s humanitarian support. According to her, the Finnish government will additionally send 52 generators to Ukraine in February and increase humanitarian assistance to €22 million.
