International developer of unmanned systems TEKEVER has become a resident of Diia.City. The company will work on new reconnaissance solutions — bringing more advanced technologies for our military and creating new jobs for Ukrainian engineers. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
According to the ministry, the company will open an R&D center in Ukraine, where it will work on improving communications, increasing their resilience and autonomy, as well as developing infrastructure for servicing and maintaining its technological platforms.
“Ukraine has become a unique platform for the development of defense technologies, where innovations are tested against real challenges. Diia.City offers giants like TEKEVER the best conditions in Europe for testing and scaling solutions,” emphasized Acting Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov.
It is noted that TEKEVER drones operate at sea and on land, collecting data in real time. The Ukrainian R&D center will focus on improving communications, increasing autonomy, and resistance to interference.
It is reported that the company chose Diia.City due to clear tax conditions and tools for building a transparent structure.
“We aim to build a strong Ukrainian team of engineers. Residency in Diia.City will allow us to provide the best conditions for employees and optimize all legal processes without bureaucracy,” emphasized Kateryna Bezsudna, Director of TEKEVER in Ukraine.
As of today, Diia.City already brings together more than 4,000 companies and 148,000 IT specialists.
