Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, coordinated further actions with unit commanders in the Southern operational zone to ensure effective active defense.
“During another working trip to the Southern operational zone, I held a meeting with the command staff of military authorities, units, and formations involved in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” Syrskyi noted.
The participants focused on improving coordination and interaction within their areas of responsibility and aligned further steps for conducting effective active defense. The Commander-in-Chief said he heard reports from commanders and issued the necessary orders to better supply Ukrainian units with ammunition, UAVs, and other logistical resources.

According to Syrskyi, Russian forces are strengthening their grouping and continue attempts to turn the course of hostilities in their favor. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are firmly holding their designated positions.
“Our goals remain unchanged — to inflict maximum losses on the enemy in order to exhaust it, liberate Ukrainian territories, and preserve the lives of our soldiers,” the general said, expressing gratitude to commanders for their initiative and diligent execution of tasks, as well as to the troops defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence.
