The goals at the Ciutat de València stadium were scored by Swede Viktor Djokeresh in the 6th, 51st, and 72nd minutes (penalty), while Ukraine’s goal was scored by Matviy Ponomarenko in stoppage time (90+1).
In the decisive match for a World Cup spot, Sweden will face Poland on March 31, who secured a 2-1 comeback victory over Albania in Warsaw.
The winner of the Sweden-Poland match will compete in Group F at the World Cup against Tunisia, the Netherlands, and Japan.
