Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck the Volgograd oil refinery on the night of September 18.

On the night of September 18, units of the Special Operations Forces targeted the Volgograd refinery in Volgograd region, Russia. This refinery is used to supply the needs of the enemy’s armed forces. It is the largest producer of fuels and lubricants in Russia’s Southern Federal District. Its annual processing volume is 15.7 million tons, or 5.6% of all oil refining in Russia.

NASA satellites have recorded a fire on the facility’s premises.

According to preliminary information, the refinery’s operations have been halted.
