The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported striking a logistics base of the Russian unmanned systems center Rubikon in the occupied town of Mangush during the night of April 17, in occupied territory of Donetsk region.
“The Special Operations Forces struck the logistics base of the classified Russian unmanned technologies center ‘Rubikon’ in occupied Mangush in Donetsk region on the night of April 17. A series of strikes on enemy targets were carried out by drones from SOF Middle-strike units. Explosions and large-scale fires were recorded at the site,” the statement said on the SOF Telegram channel.
According to the military, Rubikon uses almost all types of Russian strike and reconnaissance drones against Ukraine’s security and defense forces, except for Shahed/Geran drones. Among its assets are conventional and fiber-optic FPV drones, strike Molniya and Lancet drones, reconnaissance UAVs such as ZALA, Orlan, SuperCam, as well as maritime drones.
