Units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces have struck the Slavyansky oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban in Russia’s Krasnodar region and the Taneco oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Russian command posts and facilities used to store strike UAVs, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of September 13, 2026, Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck the Slavyansky oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. A fire was reported at the facility.
The Slavyansky refinery, operated by Slavyansk ECO LLC, is one of the largest independent oil refineries in southern Russia, with an annual processing capacity of around 5.2 million tonnes of crude oil. It produces motor fuel, fuel oil, vacuum gas oil and aviation kerosene. According to the General Staff, the refinery is involved in supplying the Russian Armed Forces.
Ukraine’s Defence Forces also struck the Taneco oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, Republic of Tatarstan. A fire was reported at one of the facility’s storage tanks.
In addition, a site used for the storage, preparation and launch of Russian strike UAVs was struck in Millerovo, Rostov region.
Analysis of additional data also established that the September 11 strike on the Saratov oil refinery damaged the ELOU-AVT-6 primary oil refining unit and a section of a main pipeline.
