Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck the Saratov oil refinery overnight on September 11, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Fires were recorded at the facility following the strike.
The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

The Saratov oil refinery has an annual processing capacity of around 7 million tonnes of crude oil and produces petrol, diesel fuel and other petroleum products.
According to the General Staff, the refinery is involved in supplying fuel and lubricants to the Russian Armed Forces.
