In Odessa, as a result of a Russian drone attack on Thursday, February 12, energy infrastructure was damaged.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As a result of the Russian UAV strikes, a nine-story residential building was damaged and a fire broke out. Rescuers promptly extinguished the blaze on the upper floors.

In addition, energy infrastructure was damaged, and fires erupted in market pavilions and in a supermarket. Windows in surrounding buildings were shattered and vehicles were damaged. Firefighters worked in extremely difficult conditions — firefighting efforts were interrupted by repeated air raid alerts.

According to preliminary data, one person was injured. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 23 people who found themselves at the epicenter of the events.

In Odessa region, Russian forces once again attacked a DTEK energy facility. Repairs will require considerable time to restore the equipment to working condition.

“We are currently working at the site, clearing the rubble. We will do everything possible to eliminate the consequences of the attack as quickly as possible. The top priority is to restore electricity to critical infrastructure facilities,” DTEK emphasized.
