On Monday, April 6, the Sloviansk Thermal Power Plant, located in the city of Mykolaivka near Sloviansk in the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region, halted operations due to Russian attacks.
This was reported by the DTEK Group on Facebook.
DTEK expressed condolences to their colleagues from Donbasenergo.
“We share your pain. We know well how it feels when your home enterprise stops. Two years ago, we also had to say goodbye to our Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant. But the most important thing is to save people,” DTEK said.
The group also added:
“We believe that together with our colleagues from Donbasenergo, we will definitely return to Ukrainian Donetsk region, restore operations, and once again keep the lights on for people.”
