On April 26, Russian forces carried out widespread attacks across several Ukrainian regions, resulting in civilian casualties and significant destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure, according to regional military administrations and the National Police.
Kharkiv region. According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, eight settlements came under attack. Russian forces used five guided aerial bombs, four “Geran-2” drones, four “Molniya” drones, and five additional drones of unspecified type.
In the Bohodukhiv district, private houses were damaged in Zolochiv and Lutiivka. In Velykyi Burluk (Kupiansk district), two private homes were destroyed. Damage was also reported in Izium, as well as in the villages of Cherkaska Lozova (Kharkiv district) and Pylna (Chuhuiv district).
Donetsk region. According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, two people were killed in Kramatorsk, and three others were injured in Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, and Kopani.
Over the past day, police recorded 1,033 strikes along the front line and residential areas. A total of 36 civilian objects were damaged, including 22 residential buildings. Overall, since the start of the full-scale invasion (excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha), Donetsk region has recorded 4,038 killed and 9,354 injured civilians.
Dnipropetrovsk region. Russian drones struck the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts. According to the regional administration, infrastructure and residential property were damaged, including a fire in an apartment building in the Nikopol area.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, infrastructure facilities were also hit. Authorities reported no casualties.
Kherson region. Three people were injured in Kherson region as a result of ongoing Russian attacks, said regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
Dozens of settlements were targeted by drones and artillery, including Kherson city and surrounding communities.
Damage was recorded to apartment buildings, private homes, a church, an enterprise, outbuildings, and vehicles. Four civilians were also evacuated from liberated areas.
Sumy region. According to the National Police of Ukraine, around 150 Russian strikes were recorded in Sumy region over the past day, killing three people.
Russian forces used guided aerial bombs, FPV drones, artillery, mortars, and attack drones.
In the Bilopillia community, two men aged 48 and 53 were killed in a drone strike. In the Sumy and Romny communities, several people were injured, and damage was reported to residential buildings, transport and energy infrastructure, medical facilities, commercial premises, vehicles, and private houses.
In the Shostka community, one woman was killed (her identity is being established), and infrastructure objects were damaged.
In the Mykolaiv region, Russian FPV drones and artillery struck the Halytsynove and Kutsurub communities. A 70-year-old man was injured and hospitalized; his condition is reported as moderate and stable.
Zaporizhzhia region. Zaporizhzhia region came under one of the heaviest attacks, with 629 strikes recorded across 45 settlements, according to the regional administration. Russian forces carried out 30 airstrikes, hundreds of drone attacks, artillery shelling, and multiple MLRS strikes.
A 59-year-old man was killed in the Zaporizhzhia district. More than 50 reports of damage to housing and infrastructure were received.
