Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out coordinated attacks across several regions of Ukraine, targeting residential areas, critical infrastructure, and public facilities. At least 17 people were injured in Zaporizhzhia alone, with additional casualties reported in Kharkiv, Kherson, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Zaporizhzhia Region:
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Russian forces carried out 729 strikes across 37 settlements. The attacks included 25 airstrikes, 406 unmanned aerial vehicles (mostly FPV drones), six MLRS strikes, and 292 artillery strikes. Among the affected settlements were Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Pavlivka, Zaliznychne, and Dobropillia. Fedorov reported 694 cases of damage to homes, vehicles, and other infrastructure, and 17 people were injured across Zaporizhzhia city and surrounding districts.

Kharkiv Region:
In Kupiansk district, a Russian drone strike destroyed a residential house. Rescuers recovered the body of a man from the rubble, while a woman sustained injuries. The State Emergency Service confirmed the incident, noting the severity of destruction caused to private property.

Sumy Region:
In Sumy city, two UAV strikes targeted a hotel building in the city center. A fire broke out, prompting the evacuation of 50 people to a safe shelter. The upper floor of the building suffered damage, and authorities have confirmed that the fire was extinguished. Officials continue to assess the full extent of structural damage and any potential casualties.
Donetsk Region:
Russian shelling claimed two lives and injured four others on February 26, the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported. The fatalities occurred in Druzhkivka. According to Vadym Filashkin, overall casualties in the Donetsk region since the start of the war amount to 4,061 deaths and 8,939 injuries, not including Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Kherson Region:
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, confirmed that one person was killed and eight were injured during drone attacks, airstrikes, and artillery shelling across multiple settlements, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Zolota Balka, Antonivka, Burhunka, Vesele, Dniprovske, and Kizomys. Damage was reported to two apartment buildings, 23 private houses, a gas pipeline, utility structures, a private garage, and a vehicle.

Dnipropetrovsk Region:
Russian forces launched nearly 10 attacks on the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts using drones, aerial bombs, and artillery. Private houses were damaged, and a fire broke out in the Pokrovska community. No injuries were reported.
Chernihiv region
In the city of Novhorod-Siversky in Chernihiv region, two police officers were injured as a result of Russian strikes. Civil infrastructure, local residents’ homes, and a car were also damaged.
