Russian forces launched a missile strike on a suburb of Odessa on Tuesday morning, hitting an area near a busy market, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
"The enemy cynically struck a populated area near a market with missiles. Civilian infrastructure has been damaged," Kiper said in a post on Telegram.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
Authorities have confirmed that three people were injured in the attack.
The victims are men aged 42, 45, and 81. Doctors have preliminarily assessed their condition as moderate, and all are receiving the necessary medical treatment.
