Russian forces intensify strikes across Ukraine: casualties reported in multiple regions

Russian forces carried out a wave of drone, missile and artillery attacks across several regions of Ukraine over the past day and during the night, resulting in deaths, injuries, and widespread damage to civilian infrastructure.

In Odessa region, two men were injured during an overnight drone attack on civilian infrastructure. A cargo vehicle and a service building at a parking area were damaged. One of the injured was hospitalized.

In the city of Kharkiv, Russian forces struck two districts using drones, including a jet-powered Shahed type, according to local officials.

A fire broke out at the impact site, damaging a hangar and two vehicles. Initially, five people were reported injured as a result of the attack.

Over the previous day, Kharkiv and 19 other settlements across Kharkiv Region came under fire, leaving 11 people injured in total. Strikes involved missiles and multiple types of drones, including Iskander-M missiles, Shahed-2 (Geran-2), Lancet, Molniya, FPV drones, and other UAVs.

Civilian infrastructure, railway facilities, industrial sites, homes, and vehicles were damaged across the region.

In Chernihiv region, authorities reported 28 attacks over the past day. Energy and transport infrastructure were among the main targets.

Drone strikes damaged a freight locomotive, railcars, and tracks in one community. Other attacks damaged vehicles, residential buildings, and a multi-story apartment block. Several strikes involved FPV drones and incendiary payloads.

In Donetsk region, Russian forces killed one civilian in the city of Druzhkivka and injured another person in Dobropillia.

Regional authorities noted that the total recorded toll in Donetsk Region continues to exclude occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces carried out more than 15 strikes using drones and artillery across three districts.

Damage was reported to residential buildings, agricultural enterprises, a shop, and unused infrastructure facilities. No casualties were reported.

In Sumy region, attacks on 36 settlements left one man dead and 18 people injured, among them children.

Casualties included a 72-year-old man killed in a drone strike, a five-month-old infant injured in a residential attack, and multiple wounded civilians across several communities. Both drones and guided aerial bombs were used in the strikes.

Homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure were damaged across the region.

In Kherson region, 19 people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian drone and artillery attacks, including a child.

Dozens of settlements came under fire. Damage was reported to apartment buildings, private homes, gas pipelines, agricultural machinery, and vehicles.

In Zaporizhzhia region, authorities recorded 948 strikes across 41 settlements in 24 hours.

One person was killed and three were injured in the Zaporizhzhia district. The attacks included 20 airstrikes, 12 missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia city, and hundreds of drone and artillery attacks across the region.

More than 100 reports of damage to housing, infrastructure, and vehicles were documented.
