Russian forces struck civilian infrastructure in Ukraine's Odessa region, injuring two people and causing a fire at a food warehouse, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper.

“The enemy launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure in the Odessa region. Two people were injured and are receiving the necessary assistance,” Kiper wrote on Telegram.

He added that the attack also caused a fire in a warehouse storing food products.

Several nearby warehouse buildings were also damaged. Emergency responders quickly extinguished the fires.

All relevant services are working at the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting another war crime committed by the Russian Federation against the civilian population.

Later, Kiper said that the two people injured in the missile strike had been hospitalized.

“They are men aged 29 and 41. Doctors assess one of them as being in moderate condition, while the other is in satisfactory condition. Both are receiving all necessary medical care,” he wrote on Telegram.
