Russian drones strike Odessa, damaging high-rise buildings and port infrastructure

As a result of a Russian attack in Odessa, hits were recorded on residential high-rise buildings in the Khadzhibeyskyi district, with casualties reported.

This was stated by the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

“As of the morning, we have information about one injured person — the necessary assistance was provided, and treatment will be outpatient,” he noted.

Lysak clarified that the nighttime strike hit residential apartment buildings.

 

 

A total of 126 specialists and 28 units of equipment from all emergency and municipal services are working at the sites. Efforts to deal with the aftermath are ongoing.

Later, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, уточнив that the number of injured had risen to two.

“In Odessa, two multi-story residential buildings were damaged by strike drones. Apartments were destroyed at the impact sites, and fires broke out. Two people were injured and are receiving all necessary assistance,” he said.

Damage to port infrastructure in the region was also reported.

As of now, five people are known to have been injured.
