Russian drones strike Izmail port and civilian sites in Odessa region

On the night of April 14, Russian drones attacked civilian and port infrastructure in the south of the Odessa region.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper. He said that overnight the enemy carried out a massive drone attack targeting civilian and port facilities in southern Odessa region.

At the Izmail port, a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag, a pier, a barge, and port equipment were damaged.

 

 

As a result of the strikes, a service station building was destroyed and caught fire. Two passenger buses and seven passenger cars were destroyed.

Roofs of six private houses were damaged. An ambulance vehicle was also damaged.

There were no fatalities or injuries, Kiper emphasized, adding that emergency and municipal services are working at the scene and efforts to eliminate the consequences are ongoing.
