Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours, killing at least three civilians and injuring more than a dozen others as drone strikes, artillery shelling, and aerial bombardments targeted communities in Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.

The attacks damaged homes, businesses, vehicles, energy infrastructure, and public facilities, underscoring the continued pressure on civilian areas far from the front line.

In northeastern Ukraine, Russian forces attacked 21 communities across Sumy region during the past day, according to regional police. Five civilians were reported injured. In the town of Hlukhiv, a Russian drone struck a residential building, wounding two women aged 20 and 69, as well as a 77-year-old man. The attack also damaged 37 vehicles, a trailer, and residential properties.

Elsewhere in the region, a 55-year-old man was injured during artillery shelling in the Seredyna-Buda community, while a 34-year-old man was wounded in a drone strike on the Berezivka community. Authorities also reported damage to homes, vehicles, power lines, educational facilities, warehouses, recreation sites, and other civilian infrastructure across several communities.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces carried out nearly 30 attacks overnight using drones and artillery against three districts, according to regional authorities.

One civilian was killed and three others were injured in strikes on the Zelendolsk community in the Kryvyi Rih district. The wounded — two men aged 64 and 66 and a 64-year-old woman — are expected to receive outpatient treatment. Infrastructure facilities and a local enterprise sustained damage in the attack.

In Nikopol district, Russian forces targeted the city of Nikopol as well as the Myrove and Pokrovske communities, damaging businesses and infrastructure. Additional strikes in Synelnykove district damaged an administrative building, vehicles, and agricultural machinery.

Zaporizhzhia region faced one of the most intense attacks reported over the past day, with regional authorities recording 946 strikes against 55 settlements. According to the regional administration, two people were killed and five wounded in attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia and surrounding areas.

Russian forces launched 30 airstrikes against settlements across the region and deployed 657 drones, primarily FPV systems, against dozens of communities. Five multiple-launch rocket system attacks and 254 artillery strikes were also recorded. Authorities received 116 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities throughout the region.

In neighboring Mykolaiv region, Russian Shahed-type drones targeted the area overnight. According to regional officials, falling drone debris damaged a warehouse building in the Bashtanka district and caused a fire. Emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze, and no casualties were reported.

Separately, Russian forces carried out six FPV drone attacks against the Ochakiv community during the previous day. No injuries were reported.

The highest civilian death tolls were recorded in Kherson and Donetsk regions, where six people were killed in each region over the reporting period.

In Kherson region, Russian forces subjected the regional capital and 50 surrounding settlements to drone attacks, artillery shelling, and airstrikes, according to regional authorities. Twenty-seven people were injured. Russian attacks damaged six apartment buildings, nine private homes, administrative buildings, shops, a restaurant, a fuel station, a cellular communications tower, farm facilities, and private vehicles.

On the morning of June 6, Russian drones struck a civilian vehicle and a residential building in the city of Kherson, injuring two 56-year-old residents. Both suffered blast injuries and concussions and were treated on an outpatient basis.

In neighboring Donetsk region, six civilians were killed, including four people in Mykolaivka and one each in Dobropillia and Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Nineteen additional civilians were injured, according to regional officials.

In Kharkiv region, Russian forces attacked the regional capital and 19 additional settlements over the past 24 hours.

A 43-year-old woman was killed in the village of Palianychnyky in the Bohodukhiv community. Six other civilians were injured, including a 52-year-old woman in Kharkiv, three men aged 24, 33, and 47 in Bohodukhiv district, a 39-year-old man in Bohodukhiv, and a 74-year-old woman in the settlement of Eskhar.

Regional authorities reported that Russian forces used a variety of weapons, including Geran-2 drones, Lancet loitering munitions, Molniya drones, FPV drones, and dozens of other unmanned aerial vehicles. The attacks damaged residential buildings, a school, railway infrastructure, fuel stations, postal vehicles, electrical networks, garages, and private vehicles across multiple districts. Authorities also reported that a transit evacuation center in Lozova received 245 evacuees during the past day. Since its establishment, the center has registered more than 38,000 displaced residents.
