Russian forces carried out a series of attacks across several regions of Ukraine over the past day, targeting infrastructure, residential areas, and civilian sites in Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, according to local authorities.
The Zaporizhzhia region came under one of the heaviest bombardments, with 875 strikes recorded across 45 settlements. Two civilians were injured, including an 86-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl.
Russian forces carried out 20 airstrikes, more than 600 drone attacks—mostly FPV drones—and multiple artillery and rocket strikes across the region. Authorities reported extensive damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure, with dozens of communities affected and over 70 reports of destruction received.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces struck Kryvyi Rih twice within several hours, targeting infrastructure and causing a fire at the impact site, regional officials said. Preliminary reports indicated no casualties.
Over the past 24 hours, the region also came under repeated drone and artillery attacks across the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Kryvyi Rih districts. One civilian was injured, while infrastructure facilities and residential buildings were damaged.
In the Chernihiv region, authorities recorded 56 attacks and 82 explosions over the past day, mainly caused by drones. Damage was reported in several communities, including residential buildings, forestry infrastructure, and non-operational facilities.
Near Chernihiv, a private home was damaged and a fire broke out in dry grass following a drone strike. Additional damage was reported in Dobrnianska, Horodnia, Semenivka, and Snovsk communities, where homes, vehicles, and local infrastructure were hit.
In the Kherson region, Russian forces used drones, aviation, and artillery to strike multiple settlements, killing two people and injuring 14 others, according to regional authorities.
Dozens of towns and villages were affected, including Kherson and surrounding communities. The attacks damaged apartment buildings, private homes, communication towers, administrative buildings, vehicles, and an ambulance. Authorities also reported evacuation efforts from liberated areas.
In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a high-rise apartment building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. City officials reported damage to the upper floors and minor smoke inside the building.
According to regional authorities, a 44-year-old woman sustained acute stress reaction as a result of the strike and is receiving medical assistance. Emergency services were deployed to the scene.
In the Mykolaiv region, Russian Shahed 131/136 drones struck energy infrastructure, leaving three settlements without electricity, according to regional authorities. As of the morning of April 14, one settlement remained fully without power and another partially disconnected. Restoration works are ongoing. No casualties were reported.
Separately, FPV drone attacks targeted the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. In the village of Dniprovske, a farm building and a trailer were damaged.
