From March 30 to April 5, Russian forces struck gas networks in Donetsk region 52 times, leaving 436 homes without gas, the Naftogaz group reported on Telegram on Tuesday.
“Gas supply has already been restored to 147 households. Donetskoblgaz crews are working to restore service,” the company stated.
Kramatorsk suffered the most, with 23 hits on gas infrastructure. Gas was cut off to 171 homes. Supply has been restored to 60 households, and another 45 regained gas after previous outages.
According to Naftogaz, Druzhkivka experienced 13 hits, leaving the largest number of homes without gas – 233. Sloviansk had two damages, leaving 18 families without gas; Mykolaivka had 13 damages, 24 cut off, and gas restored to 42 families; Balbasivka had one damage.
“Our gas crews are working under extremely difficult conditions – under fire, among destroyed buildings and damaged infrastructure. They restore gas where the security situation allows,” the company emphasized.
