Russian attacks across Ukraine kill 4 and injure over 60

Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past 24 hours, killing at least four people and injuring more than 60 others, according to regional authorities.

The Zaporizhzhia region came under the most intense bombardment, with Russian forces carrying out 973 strikes on 49 settlements. According to regional governor Ivan Fedorov, the attacks included 25 air strikes, 694 drone attacks, artillery shelling, and a multiple-launch rocket system strike.

Two people were killed and 22 injured in attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts. Authorities received 103 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure.

In the Sumy region, Russian forces launched 47 strikes on 34 settlements, injuring 20 civilians, including four children. Most of the casualties were reported in the Sumy and Konotop communities following drone attacks. Among the injured were children aged 6, 11, 13, and 15. Damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure was reported across several communities.

Ukrainian police have opened war crimes investigations into the attacks.

Russian drone and artillery attacks in the Kherson region killed two people and wounded 16 others over the past day, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said.

Dozens of settlements, including Kherson city, came under fire. The attacks damaged apartment buildings, private homes, a mobile communications tower, a fuel station, agricultural equipment, office premises, and civilian vehicles.

In the Donetsk region, seven civilians were injured on June 24, according to regional authorities. Six people were wounded in Druzhkivka and one in the village of Samoilivka. Officials noted that the region's confirmed casualty toll since the start of the full-scale invasion has reached 4,136 killed and 9,703 injured, excluding occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Russian forces attacked five districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times overnight using drones, artillery, and guided bombs.

Damage was reported in the Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Pavlohrad, and Synelnykove districts. Among the affected sites were a fuel station, a warehouse containing municipal equipment, a college, a recreation center, a dormitory, a house of culture, and numerous private homes and vehicles. Several fires broke out as a result of the attacks.

No fatalities or injuries have been reported.

In the Kharkiv region, 20 settlements came under attack, leaving 11 people injured, according to Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

In the Izium community, two men aged 39 and 54 were wounded in the village of Iskra. In the Bohodukhiv area, two more men were injured, while five women in Bohodukhiv experienced acute stress reactions after strikes. A 40-year-old woman was also reported injured in Nova Hnylytsia, and a 61-year-old man was wounded between the villages of Sukhyny and Skosohorivka.

Russian forces used missiles, UAVs including Geran-2, Lancet and Molniya drones, FPV systems, and multiple rocket launchers in the attacks. Damage was reported across multiple districts, including power lines, rail infrastructure, residential buildings, warehouses, vehicles, industrial facilities, and agricultural equipment.
