Russian attacks across Ukraine injure dozens, damage energy and civilian infrastructure

Russian forces carried out a new wave of attacks across multiple Ukrainian regions, targeting civilian infrastructure, energy facilities, and residential areas, leaving dozens injured and causing widespread damage.

In the Chernihiv region, an energy facility in the Nizhyn district was damaged, cutting off electricity to around 54,000 consumers in the city of Nizhyn and surrounding areas. Energy workers are currently working to restore power.

In the northeastern city of Sumy, a nighttime drone attack on April 21 left at least 15 people injured, including three teenage girls aged 13, 15, and 17, who were hospitalized. Most of the আহত were elderly residents, and authorities said all victims are receiving medical care. In a separate report, regional police said at least six people were injured in strikes on residential neighborhoods, where homes were damaged and vehicles set on fire.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, four people were injured after Russian forces launched nearly 10 হামlах using drones, artillery, and aerial bombs. In the Nikopol district, two teenagers aged 16 and 18 were hospitalized with moderate injuries. In the Synelnykove district, attacks destroyed two private homes and damaged others, injuring two men.

In the Kharkiv region, a morning drone strike hit the city of Chuhuiv, damaging a childcare facility and around five private homes. No casualties were reported.

Meanwhile, in Kharkiv city, a combat drone struck an administrative building in the central Shevchenkivskyi district. Information on casualties is still being уточнено, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

In the southern Kherson region, one person was killed and five others injured over the past day as Russian forces carried out drone strikes, air attacks, and artillery shelling across dozens of settlements, including Kherson city.

 

 

In the Zaporizhzhia region, two people were killed and 10 injured after Russian forces carried out 725 strikes on 39 settlements. The attacks included airstrikes, artillery fire, rocket attacks, and hundreds of drones. Authorities reported more than 150 cases of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
