Russia struck Dnipro with a missile: 5 killed, 25 injured

A Russian missile strike on the city of Dnipro has killed four people and injured 25 others, regional authorities said.

“Four people were killed, 25 were injured — these are the consequences of the enemy attack on Dnipro. Twenty-one people have been hospitalized. Ten are in serious condition,” said Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha.

According to officials, the victims suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, lacerations, and fractures. Police confirmed that the city was hit by a missile.

 

 

In a later update, Hanzha reported that one of the injured had died in hospital.

“A 40-year-old man who was wounded in the enemy attack on Dnipro has died in hospital,” he said.

Emergency services continue to work at the site of the strike.
