Over the past day, Russian forces attacked five facilities belonging to the Naftogaz group in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, forcing a temporary suspension of production processes, said Naftogaz of Ukraine CEO Serhii Koretskyi.
“Just over the past day, the Russians attacked five Naftogaz facilities in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. There is equipment damage, and fires broke out at the sites. Production processes had to be temporarily halted,” Koretskyi wrote on Monday.
According to him, specialists from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service and Naftogaz teams are working on-site, taking all necessary measures to minimize the consequences of the Russian strikes.
Koretskyi emphasized that the intensity of attacks is increasing.
