Every foreign country must decide for itself whether to send its troops to Ukraine.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky during a media interaction in Munich.
“As for (foreign) troops on Ukrainian territory, my position is as follows: this is a decision that each country must make. We are ready to invite troops from the Coalition of the Willing, from one or several countries. They could participate either by providing security in the air or on the ground. Of course, we support this idea, and of course, the Russian forces are against it,” the President said.
He added that when the Ukrainian side communicates with the United States, the Americans say:
“The Russian forces are against it, but they will not attack you. But my question is this: if they [the Russian forces] do not want to continue the war or invade Ukraine for a third time, why should they be feared? Why be afraid? If they [the Russian forces] do not plan to attack, then… where does this fear come from? Because you know where it comes from,” the President stated.
