The training of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel under the EUMAM Ukraine mission — the European Union Military Assistance Mission to Ukraine — is ongoing under the leadership of the NATO Joint Warfare Training Command in Poland, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
“The training program is exclusively practical in nature and focuses on directly enhancing the survivability and combat effectiveness of Ukrainian defenders on the battlefield,” the statement reads.
Specifically, during live-fire training, personnel refine dynamic shooting skills and practice engaging targets in various conditions and tactical scenarios closely simulating real combat situations. During engineering and sapper training, troops learn safe handling of pyrotechnic devices and practice procedures for laying and clearing mines.

Special attention is given to battlefield medicine. Military personnel undergo intensive medical-rescue training, practicing actions under enemy fire and skills for stabilizing the wounded directly on the battlefield.
“Technical Equipment Handling - practical classes include training on the operation and basic repair of weaponry and military vehicles provided by partners,” the General Staff noted on Facebook.
The press service emphasizes that such comprehensive training allows Ukrainian soldiers to acquire critically important skills that directly affect their ability to carry out combat missions effectively and preserve life on the front lines.
