Since the beginning of the day, the Russian army has launched 38 attacks on the positions of Ukraine’s defenders. Russian forces are exerting the greatest pressure on the Pokrovsk axis.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its operational update.
Russian artillery continues shelling border areas. Today, Novovasylivka, Korenok, Bachivsk, Ryzhivka, Tovstodubove, Budky, Ulanove, Bezsalivka, and Kharkivka in Sumy region came under Russian fire.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Russian forces shelled settlements and positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces 29 times, including three attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the Russian army launched three assaults on Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk and Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk, Kramatorsk, Oleksandrivka, and Prydniprovskyi axes, Russian forces have not yet carried out offensive actions today.
In the Lyman axis, Russian forces launched seven assaults near Lyman, Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Ozerne. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk axis, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one attempt by Russian forces to advance near Riznykivka.
In the Kostiantynivka axis, Russian forces attacked eight times near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Kucheriv Yar. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk axis, since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have made 12 attempts to push the Defense Forces from their positions near Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, and Molodetske, toward Novopavlivka. Four combat engagements are still underway.
In the Huliaipole axis, defenders successfully repelled five attacks by the Russian army toward Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, and Zaliznychne.
In the Orikhiv axis, Russian troops attacked twice near Stepnohirsk.
In other sectors of the front, the situation remains without significant changes. Russian forces are not making new attempts to advance.
