The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, together with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway, Eirik Kristoffersen, visited military command bodies and selected air assault and assault units carrying out combat missions to repel Russian armed aggression in the southern operational zone.

“At the front, General Eirik Kristoffersen personally familiarized himself with the operational situation and how the available weapons are being used. The urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in weapons, military equipment, and ammunition were also discussed, as well as further strengthening of cooperation both within bilateral frameworks and in broader formats,” Syrskyi wrote on Telegram on Monday following the visit.

He emphasized that Norway is one of Ukraine’s most consistent and committed allies during the full-scale war in terms of providing military assistance and allocating funds to strengthen Ukraine’s Defense Forces with air defense systems, UAVs, ammunition, and more.
